1 Year Today

Today marks the anniversary of Nate's passing and will be remembered by many the world over.

Take a minute today to reflect on the times spent with Nate and never forget how wonderful a person he was to have touched so many of us.

To Nate - Go well mate, hope your enjoying yourself. You have been and always will be with many of us since you have gone.

Happy 25th Birthday Nate

Happy Birthday Mate.

Even though Nate is no longer with us physically, today is no less special. I would suggest it is even more special for the reason that he can be in our thoughts for so many more reasons today than for just his birthday. Today Nate will be able to share his birthday with all of us, as he resides in the memories of us all.

Enjoy your day wherever you are my friend, and know that many people are thinking of you on this day.

After Nathan's Funeral

It was a wonderful memorial to Nathan. We were very pleased to see so many friends of the family attend. The tribute paid to Nathan by you just being there, moved us very deeply. Our special thanks to those who spoke to the congregation. You all did so well, and we admire you for it. To Matt and Justin, we thank you for being Nathan's mates forever - You spoke so well, and your families can be as proud of you as we are of Nathan. You will forever be part of our lives. To Nathan's friends who wrote comments on the blog site, know that Nathan heard every one of those and he appreciated them all. To his friends who attend the funeral - Thankyou. If we did not get to greet you at the funeral, please know that we do acknowledge your support. We know that some of his friends could not make it, and we know that they would have if it was possible. Nathan would not want you to sweat that. He was not one to worry about a fuss being made about him. He was always more concerned about others.

Many thanks to our family, in particular to Carol's mum who has (as always) been busy behind the scenes, and to Peter & Irene who carried almost all of the organising tasks for us.

Thanks to the many, (friends & family) who have been so helpful in many practical ways. You have all helped us get through this difficult time so much easier.

Thanks also to Damon & Laura, Aaron, Mirelle for just being you. We are so blessed that we have great children. And of course we have a wonderful new Daughter-in-law. As Jim recently told her, "She is worth her weight in gold." We cannot bear to think what Nathan and we would have done without her.

The Osborne family (the inlaws) have been so strong too. We appreciate their support and encouragement for all of us. We love you.

Nathan's funeral

Nathan's funeral service will be held at Bream Bay Assembly of God, 223 Marsden Point Road, Ruakaka, at 1pm on Friday 2nd November. Nathan will be buried at Waipu following the service.
