Hi! Firstly on behalf of Nate I have to thank everyone for their love and support and messages sent. I keep him up to date with well wishes and he asks me each time if I can say "Thank you" for him. I have just printed of todays messages & can't wait to read them to him tomorrow.I spent this afternoon & evening with Nathan...when I informed him he was now stuck just with me & my dribble...he asked me for the tv remote with a cheeky smile. We had a nice afternoon...ice-cream, jelly and custard...washed down with fruit juice (which resulted in what Nate called "burkups"...burps & hickups...hahaha. And of course, Nate was impressed with my amazing nursing skills...as I stood there daydreaming and leaving him hanging looking at the spoon of ice-cream I was holding for him..lingering mid-air..."rell..." All jokes aside, we are all so proud of Nate and his amazing courage, honesty, consideration for others, politeness, and most of all LOVE. xoxo Mirelle

Hi everybody. Aaron here. Firstly I would like to say a big thank you to everyone for the love you are sending our way. It is great to know that so many people are thinking of us. I wanted to let you all know that as much as it is hard to accept or understand, Nathan will not be with us for much longer. Currently he is fighting an infection, recovering from a major surgery and gaining strength in order to be able to leave the hospital so he can be at home with his friends and family before he leaves this world. The cancer has progressed aggresively and there are no options left for treatment. Nathan has been amazing during this difficult time and is at peace with what is happening. He is so strong and this is really a reflection on the sort of person he is. He is amazing and Jill has been a tower of strength for us all. Nathan is very lucky to have her as his best friend and partner. Continue to think of us and send more messages via this website (this is the best way to get in touch) and we will ensure that Nathan receives them. Please understand if we are not able to contact everyone, but know that we are reading your messages and really appreciate them.lots of love, Aaron.

Thinking of you all in Germany said...
Hallo Nathan, I just tried to think of how long ago it is since we met. it´s really 9 years ago when I stayed at your house as an exchange student. Even though we had some different ideas of what was cool and right etc at that time I really love to look back to that time... I was really happy to hear from you over facebook a couple of weeks ago. Also, I was glad to see you and Jill and your friends (please say hi to Mat) and family (hallo to all of you)all happily together. And I have to admit, that I was really shocked when I read that you had to get back to hospital. By reading the blogs though, I realize that you are sooo brave and that you have so many friends and a wonderful family around you. I am thinking of all of you a lot and in my thoughts I am with you. I send my love to you guys around the globe from Germany to Australia.Love, Tanja

Hi again Nathan, all your family and also to MatIt's such a blessing to hear of the wonderful time you as a family are all having together in spite of the circumstances. We continue to pray and send our love to you all.I posted a few older photos from the Wigmore archives today. (Sorry Mirelle you can deal with me later)We have so many memories of you growing up here in Ruakaka and of when you stayed with us when mum and dad went to Israel - taking you and Justin op shopping for a suit for the school ball (what you didn't know was that when I washed it the lining shrunk and I was in a big panic fixing it while you were at school), picking glass out of your head after a certain mate ended up in the mangroves at Oakleigh on the way home from church, you burning around in your mum and dad's red car to deliver your papers and the list could go on.Blessings to you allLove Jeanette

Hi Nate, Pete here. Just wanted to let you know I’m thinking of you at the moment. In the two odd years I’ve been here in Australia I haven't met to many blokes that I’ve liked that much. You are one of the most genuine, decent guys that I can be proud to call a mate. Yourself and jilly are without a doubt, two of the strongest people i've met in my life. I hope Tim, Liv and myself will be able to come up and see you two when you get home.
All my love and best whishes.
Pete
