Courage & Determination

Jill and Nate would like to thank everyone so far for their comments and well wishes.

I will copy all of the comments so far into a new message so everyone can read them from the main page. Please continue to post your well wishes and thoughts, or ask any questions, and i will make sure they get them, as well post them up for their support.

There has been some developments today with the way forward. Unfortunatly, Nates body wont be able to take any Chemotherapy this time around. They also dont think that an operation would be successful or be able to be of benefit. Jill is looking to get Nate through this infection though so that Nate can come home and be more comfortable in his own house, rather than a hospital bed.

They have both been discussing treatments they would like to try, with Jill organising some Apricot Kernals for Nate (i think they are good with Vitamin B somehow but i will find out more and let you know). They have also received some info from a friend regarding a new treatment using glucose and radio waves. Again, i dont have too much info, but Jill and Nate are both positive about any and all of these options.

Today was a great day too, Nate sat up and was able to move off the bed and sit in a chair. He was a little more cheery and was still making wise cracks to the nurses. He even scared one of them while Mandy and I were there, telling them he was allergic to a painkiller that she had just injected into him. Her face was priceless and he had a chuckle.

Again we wish them both a good night.
